πŸ“ The Cephalic Phase Insulin Response To Nutritive And Low-Calorie Sweeteners In Solid And Beverage Form

A big lesson people need to learn when it comes to nutrition:
Stop looking at chemical reactions alone. The whole system is a prediction-making machine, and this applies to the food we eat. That Vueling pushed in the industry (liver does that with glucose vs sucrose, calories in vs calories out, macros, etc…) is a gross over-simplification of an incredibly complex system. The main issue is that the body is smarter than the people studying it. So stop letting people sell you shit by making you feel you understand how the body works. No one truly does, not yet.
We are getting some answers, but i am tired of seeing the scientific community bully people into a reductionist view of the human body.
It seems that they fought the Catholic Church for so long they turned into their own version of it. They should have read Nietzsche…
Case in point the Cephalic Insulin Response. It will have a major effect on blood sugar levels, and is triggered by sight, smell and taste. Nothing to do with chemical reactions and all about YOUR prediction of what it is. Stop looking at the body like it is a car. It is not, it’s a gorgeously complex system that works as a unit.

The shit is NOT as simple as they say. We have 3 brains and 4 nervous systems, all designed to work together to bring us the most powerful system nature was able to design.

Start treating it as such.
