The fitness industry is an industry. And a big one. $94 billion in 2018, showing almost 9% annual growth, and over $40 billion coming from the U.S. supplement industry.
An industry of this size that is growing at this rate must be making some progress in turning the tide on the worldwide health issues we’ve been seeing during the last few decades, right? Wrong.
Amidst all of the increased revenue, the problem still continues to worsen.
So can we really trust an objective-based industry that is chasing money at the expense of the consumer’s well-being? Is it caused by malice, incompetence, or something else?
