πŸ“A Time Estimation Task As A Possible Measure Of Emotions: Difference Depending On The Nature Of The Stimulus Used

The aim of the present work was to compare the effect of emotionally arousing video stimuli and odors by using an implicit emotional priming paradigm that was developed in previous works (Gros et al., 2014). In the next sections we will first describe how time estimation works, by describing the most relevant models of the internal clock. Second, we will briefly describe how emotions affect time estimations. Third, we will describe the emotional priming paradigm and the Clock’n test, an emotional priming task based on olfactory stimuli that we recently developed.
